Chanel 1989 Vintage Black Tall Classic Double Flap Bag 24k GHW
This is a vintage classic. A 1 million series serial number from the late 80s, more than 30 years old and in stunning condition.
Now called the 11.12 bag in their most recent campaigns, Chanel's medium classic flap has become the world's iconic standard for all things chic, feminine and luxurious.
With a double flap, or another flap on the interior, this bag has an extra flat pocket underneath the main compartment, an extra hidden pocket behind the interior flap.
Similar to the medium size but a little taller is this "tall medium" size with a taller profile and square shape. It holds more, and, also has an extra zipper pocket in the interior of the bag. A rare find.
Interior features two open side pockets and a zipper pocket.
In lambskin leather and 24k gold plated hardware. In lambskin leather, the original classic flap in all its glory with its petal soft quilts, true luxury.
This item is in great condition with very few signs of normal use. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. It is a deep, yellow 24k gold plated hardware which is impossible now to find in stores as it is no longer produced. Interior is clean. The beautiful leather is petal-soft, never refurbished, and representative of a time period when Chanel's quality was at its height.
