Hermes Bolide 31 Bag Shoulder Tote Indigo Blue Fjord GHW

A classic, classic model, the Bolide has especially as of recent become an Hermes enthusiast favorite for its classic H look, understated elegance and versatility of removable shoulder strap. Any Hermes enthusiast knows the classic bag first created in 1923 as the world's first handbag with zipper, while one is able to relatively fly under the radar to others.

In the 31cm smaller size, the bag carries less than what the width would suggest as it tapers towards the top both vertically and horizontally.

Double rolled handles with hooks for shoulder straps, four rounded 24k gold plated feet, soft kidskin interior, zipper top closure.

In indigo navy blue fjord cowhide and 24k gold plated hardware. The color is "indigo," a deep, dark navy blue that is often mistaken for black. Against the 24k gold plated hardware, it is stunning in structured fjord leather.

In rich wide-grain fjord leather. Fjord is a substantial, thick and wide grain that holds better structure than its Clemence or Togo counterparts but still has a wide, "chewy" look and grain. It will not slouch like clemence or togo, but still shows the thick grains.

Marked "H" in a square for 2004 production but never refurbished and barely used.

This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of normal use. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. It is a deep, yellow 24k gold plated hardware which is impossible now to find in stores as it is no longer produced. Interior is clean.
