The square WOC is unique in that it has a leather strap portion of the long chain which can be worn cross body. Additionally, instead of the smaller snap closure is a larger magnetic circle snap closure for easy one-hand closing.

The square WOC is larger than the square mini flap, although the square mini flap is slightly deeper. A great alternative.
